Ramona Guadalupe Garcia, a beautician and life-long resident of Tracy, CA, passed away on August 28, 2020 at the age of 76. Ramona is survived by her husband, Francisco Garcia; her sister, Josephine Granados; her daughter, Rocio Gomez; her son, David Garcia; her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Tamez-Garcia; her grandsons, DeAndre Wilson, David Garcia II, Enrique Ortega-Cantu, and Tony Tamez-Garcia; her granddaughters, Kimberly Garcia and Barbara Garcia; her great granddaughter, Mia Sims; her great grandson Daniel Quintana; and her great grandson Samuel Garcia-Mancillas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ciriaco and Bertha Lita Vasquez; and her brother, Raymond Vasquez.
Ramona was born October 2, 1943. She graduated from California Beauty college in 1965. She then began doing hair and continued to do hair until she passed. In March 1976 and December 1979 she welcomed her children, her pride and joy, into the world. In 1986 she married the love of her life Francisco Garcia. In April 1995 she became a grandmother, and in February 2015 she became a great grandmother.
Ramona was a devoted mother, loving grandmother, and a proud great grandmother. Ramona was a woman with many talents that she taught and passed on to her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed the occasional trip to the casino and she never missed bingo. She had many hobbies but enjoyed and valued her time with her family above almost everything. Ramona was a spiritual woman with a very strong connection to God. She was an amazing person who lit up any room she entered with laughter and joy. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
