Tribute

With great sorrow and disbelief we announce that Robert Louis "Bob" Henricus peacefully passed away in his sleep at the age of 54. On March 13th family said their last goodbyes to a beautiful, loving, caring husband, father, son and brother that Wednesday morning. Bob will be remembered by many loving family members and friends from all over. He was born on August 17, 1964 in San Leandro.

Bob grew up in Pleasanton, California where he attended Foothill High School (class of 1982) He played baseball for Ohlone College in Fremont. Soon after college he became an electrician in the bay area. He moved to Tracy in 1992 and worked for Precision Excavation & Drilling as Project Manager in Pleasanton. Bob was introduced to Jamie Thomsen in Vernalis and that is where he lived and spent the last 23 years of his life. He loved the community and would spread his generosity without being asked, he loved helping in the orchards and fields of Thomsen Farms. He helped maintain the water and grasslands with his son Wyatt in Los Banos where The Madrone Land Cattle and Duck Club is located. He spread his knowledge and encouraged the youth and new hunters to hunt waterfowl and to insure a waterfowl future for hunters. He is a hero and he lived life to his fullest. Bob also enjoyed traveling around to compete in shooting sporting clays with groups of friends. Bob loved to barbecue and cook for his family and circle of friends, he had an infectious way of laughing, joking and playing with anyone that came around. Bob was a hard worker and would do anything for anybody. He would help and support the kids in the New Jerusalem 4-H club and at the San Joaquin Fair. When he had time he loved taking the boat out to the lakes by the family cabin and fish all day. He always made time for his friends and family, either call on the phone or make visits to Livermore, Carmel Valley, Gridley and Truckee. He made memories hunting in Colorado, Michigan, Idaho, Wyoming and Mexico. Bob left an enormous impact in all our hearts and is a true inspiration to everyone around him. He will never be forgotten.

He is lovingly survived by the love of his life, Jamie Thomsen of 23 years; son Wyatt James Henricus both of Vernalis; son Robert Ontiveros; granddaughter Aubrey Lynn Ontiveros; grandson Jessie James Ontiveros, all of Manteca.
