Rodrigo Perez

Rodrigo Pérez "Gogi" was born November 13, 1994 and left us at only 26 years old on June 21, 2021 all too early from a previously unknown medical condition.

There are so many things that can be said about Rodrigo, but nothing can do justice to the true man he was. Many people would talk about how much joy Rodrigo would bring to those around him. He was so full of life and had many plans left unfinished.

Rodrigo worked for Modesto Toyota and had a passion to work and learn about cars, he loved to apply his knowledge in the automotive industry. You could always see how much passion Rodrigo had for his projects, he would pour all of himself into whatever was at hand. His greatest passion & love in life was his family. Rodrigo loved nothing more than being a husband to Melissa & daddy to his 2-year-old daughter Elizabeth. Elizabeth was Rodrigo's pride and joy and meant the world to him! While some are nervous about becoming a daddy, Rodrigo was a natural and cherished every minute of it. His family meant everything to him. Unfortunately, Rodrigo had just lost his Father, Margarito Pérez, less than 2 weeks ago. Rodrigo treasured his father and credited him for the husband, father and man that he himself had become.

Rodrigo leaves behind his wife of 5 years, Melissa Pérez; daughter Elizabeth Pérez; his mother, Maria Pérez; siblings Angel Pérez, Sofia Pérez, and Ana Pérez. He also leaves behind his mother & father-in-law Barbara & Bernie Cummins; brother-in-law Josh Cummins and a countless number of aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.

Services are being handled by Fry Memorial Chapel, Tracy. Chapel services on Tuesday will be live-streamed. An online guest book is available for condolences and special messages to the family.
