Salvador Raudalez Delgado left his mortal home on September 27, 2019. Salvador was born on July 25, 1936, in Zacatecas, Mexico.
He moved to Tracy with his wife, Maria, and his three sons (Salvador Jr., Sergio and Jose) in 1964 and later had his last two children (Silvia and Yolanda). Salvador worked in the agriculture industry and retired from the Pescadero Reclamation District.
Salvador is survived by his wife of 60 years, five children, seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
He enjoyed gardening; reading of all types, but particularly about ancient ruins; spending time with his family; and taking trips to Jackson Rancheria to play the slot machines. Dad would get a special twinkle in his eye when he would tell us stories about his childhood in Mexico and his time courting Mom. Dad was an example to us all of his lifetime of selfless sacrifice and love for his family. You don’t have to worry about us anymore, Poppa, we’ve got it from here and we can hardly wait to see your sparkling eyes and wonderful smile in heaven.
The viewing will be held October 9, 2019, 12 noon–7 p.m., followed by a 7 p.m. rosary at Fry Memorial Chapel. Funeral services will be held October 10, 2019, at 11 a.m. at St. Bernard’s followed by a graveside service at Tracy Public Cemetery.
