Sandra Mary Alchesky

Sandra Mary Alchesky peacefully passed away on July 13, 2018 in Hughson, CA after a brave battle with cancer. She was 64.

Sandra was born in Ranshaw, PA on March 6, 1954 to Stanley Anthony and Dorothy Rose (Persavage) Stasheski. She graduated from Shamokin Area High School in 1972. Marrying Larry C. Alchesky on November 12, 1977, the couple and their two children resided in Macungie, PA before moving to Sunnyvale, CA in 1994 and settling in Tracy, CA in 1995 where she lived until her passing.

She was a devoted and caring wife and loved being a mother. A stay at home mom, she was the heart and soul of the family. She loved sewing and created many clothes, costumes, and other crafts both for and with her children even as they grew into adulthood.

Sandra enjoyed traveling with her family to attend shows, concerts, state parks, and beaches. She loved visiting Disney Parks and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter with the family.

Sandra loved dogs and volunteered with the Animal Rescue of Tracy during Christmastime.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Larry C. Alchesky of Tracy, CA; her son Gary Lorenz, Jr. and his wife Lori of Shamokin, PA; her son Nathan Alchesky of Rancho Cordova, CA; her daughter Angela Alchesky of Tracy, CA; her brother Curtis Stasheski and his wife Kathleen of Indiana, PA; her step-mother Patricia Stasheski of Kulpmont, PA; 2 nieces and 2 nephews; 4 grandchildren; 10 great nieces and nephews; and 2 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Stanley A. and Dorothy R. (Persavage) Stasheski, her brother Stanley Stasheski and his wife Susan (Keller), and Pepper, the family dog.

Visitation will take place Monday, July 23rd at Fry Memorial Chapel located at 550 South Central Avenue, Tracy, CA from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Prayer service will begin at 6:00 PM.
