I worked closely with Sandra at Varian over the last two years and she also helped me with the split off of Varex from Varian. She was a good friend and always willing to help me out and show me the ropes. She left a trail of goodness behind her. I can't believe I will no longer be able to pick up the phone to talk to her. What a beautiful woman, Mrs. Roe was. I am very sorry to read of your loss. With her accomplishments, her love and joys, she was an amazing woman! I won't pretend to know what you're going through, but what has helped me deal with the loss of those I love, is turning to the Scriptures, something that has been a real source of comfort. I am with a law firm that provides legal services to Varian and we worked with Sandra in those regards for over a decade. In that role, she was always exactly "right;" never one to clutter an inbox with needless prattle and busy work but always one to ask pertinent questions, provide important information, and hold our feet to the fire when appropriate. She was direct yet polite, professional yet human and humorous, and always honest and fair. We are very sad to hear of her passing and we will miss her greatly. Our condolences to her family and friends.
