On Tuesday, September 30th, 2021, Veronica Souza loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend has passed through heavens gates at the age of 68.
Veronica was the glue that held everybody together with her love and spirit like no other. She was a beautiful and devoted wife to her husband Daniel Souza who treated her with an infinite amount of love and care. Together they felt like home to everyone. The love they shared for each other will live on forever.
She also had two amazing daughters, Natalie DeWane and Laurie Betz, amongst them came all her grandbabies and great grandbabies. The bundle of happiness and love she brought to all of them was greater than words can describe. Her grandchildren Anthony (soon to be father of Carson in 2022), Makenzie, Johnny (father to Christopher and Elena), Shaianna (mother to Jaden and Mahkai), Kianna (mother to Aadyn), Aalyah and Jaylah will pass on her wonderful memories to many more grandbabies to come.
Ronnie as her siblings would call her, has always been surrounded by the love of her brothers and sisters growing up, for she was the second youngest amongst them all. Gordon Somera; Gilbert Somera, Dolores Romero, Virginia Somera, Diana Garcia-Ahrens, Robert Somera and Richard Somera.
Veronica touched everyone’s heart with her smile and jokes and went above and beyond to make everyone feel loved, she was a safe space for many and open arms to whoever needed her help. Now she shall live on through all her family with the memories she has created throughout her beautiful lifetime.
Family, friends and loved ones join us at Fry Memorial Chapel for the Funeral service at 11:00am Friday, Oct. 8th (550 S Central Avenue in Tracy) Following will be burial service at Tracy Cemetery. Veronicas Celebration of Life will be held at El Patio in Tracy at the Outlet Center. There will be food etc. for all to relax and reminisce about all the good times shared.
