Remembering the life of Victor Charles Mills
March 4, 1957-November 8, 2021


Victor Charles Mills was born March 4, 1957 in Coleman Texas to Ebbie Mae McFarland and Joseph Webster. He attended grade school in Texas and later moved to California attending Havenscourt Middle School and graduated from Castlemont High School in Oakland in 1975. While attending Castlemont he was a member of the world renown Castleers, playing lead guitar.

After finishing school, he attended Peralta College where he studied music and Silicon Valley College. Victor always worked and over his lifetime, he had several occupations including Global Field Service Engineer, Firearms Security Trainer and most recent position of Transit Driver with County Connection Transit Agency.

Victor bore one son with Cathy Cuison Mills and together they raised sons Brandon, Daniel and Eric. Victor loved his sons and was very active in their lives. He coached baseball and basketball.

An avid golfer, Victor was a member of the Jesse Johnson Golf Club.

Victor cherished his mother and in 2016 relocated her from Louisiana to live with him in Tracy. He doted on her and provided for her every need.

Victor was never the same after the loss of his son Brandon in 2017

He was proceeded in death by his beloved son Brandon Mills, sister Sheila Reid and stepfather Raymond Reid.

He leaves to mourn his passing his beloved mother Ebbie Reid , stepsons Eric Cuison and Daniel Cuison, brother Michael Reid, He will be missed by a host of aunts, nieces and nephews and many dear friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, November 19, 2021 at Fry Memorial Chapel, doors will open at 2:00 p.m. for visitation & final goodbyes. Services will also be live-streamed live via his tribute page at www.frymemorialchapel.com A guest book is also available for condolences and special messages to the family.
