Viola R. Guillen

Viola Rachel Guillen 71, a lifetime resident of Tracy gained her wings on September 2, 2019, at Kaiser Modesto Hospital. She was born June 28, 1948, in Tracy California, the daughter of Lorenzo and Estella (Gonzales) Guillen.
Viola graduated from Tracy High School and Beauty School. She worked as a hair stylist, care giver, Nanny to many and worked in food service for the Jefferson School District.
Viola will be remembered as a very loving, kind-hearted, caring individual that would do anything for those she loved. She always found the good in everyone and loved her kids and grandchildren with all of her heart. Her real passions were her family and friends, she loved family get togethers and truly believed her family came first. She had a passion for music and dancing, and had a beautiful smile that would light up any room.
She is survived by her sons Nelson Guillen of Tracy, CA. Alberto Guillen and his wife Melissa of Baytown, TX. Daughter Cecilia Guillen of Tracy, CA. Brother Lawrence Guillen and his wife Lupe of Tracy, CA. Sister Ofelia Granados of San Jose, CA. Grandchildren Marcus Guillen, Zachary Guillen and Dominique Harper of Tracy and Andrew & Alyanna Guillen of Baytown, TX. Also, several Nieces and Nephews of Tracy and San Jose, CA.
Family and Friends are invited to the viewing 2:00 - 9:00 p.m. Thursday September 26th at Fry Memorial Chapel, 500 S. Central Avenue, Tracy CA. A Rosary will be held at this location starting at 6 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Friday, September 27th at 10:30 a.m. at St. Bernard's Catholic Church, 163 W. Eaton Avenue, Tracy CA. Viola will be laid to rest at the Tracy Cemetery following the service. A reception will be held at the Portuguese Hall, 400 W. 9th St. Tracy, CA.
