Wade Leonard

September 18, 1998 ~ December 14, 2020 (age 22) 22 Years Old

Tribute

Dearest family, friends, and colleagues,

It is with extraordinary sadness that we share the loss of our beloved son, Wade Emerson Leonard who was known to be both an exceptional younger brother to Calib and caring older brother to Joshua. We were blessed with 22 years of an incredible young man who will always be his mother’s ‘baby boy’ whose smile was ever-present and catching. As were his grandfathers, mother, older brother Calib, and other relatives, Wade was called to serve this great nation in uniform – and was an honorable United States Marine.

Although our hearts break, for the loss of Wade’s earthly presence, we must find solace in his everlasting spirit that will forever remain. In the grand majesty of his memory and through our tears we must remember the joy and recall and cherish the special moments we were blessed to share with Wade. In his honor – raise a glass of Arizona Raspberry Iced Tea, give sushi a try, binge watch the Star Wars movie collection, explore Magic the Gathering, play a game of chess or simply reminisce on the moments that are uniquely Wade (like wearing jeans and a button shirt to the beach!) that will serve as a tribute and celebration of his 22 years of life.

Wade was taken from us in a fatal traffic accident on Monday, December 14, 2020. Regular funeral services cannot be held. However, Wade will receive full military honors at the San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery in Santa Nella, California. Once we have been provided a date we will post the information for those who are able and would like to attend the ceremony.

God Bless,
