Steve, 54, went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2017. Steve was born on April 2, 1963 in Tracy, Ca. He attended Tracy schools and graduated Tracy High in 1981. He attended Bethel College at St. Paul, Minn. on a High School Football Scholarship in 1982.
In his youth, Steve accepted Faith and Baptism and was a member of Grace Baptist Church Tracy. He chose the insurance business for over 25 years and was a recent Broker for Steel Insurance Agency Modesto.
Steve’s life was too short; he was a good guy to everyone. Those touched by him, his Smile, Kindness, and Humor brought much joy to friends and family.
Steve was a sports fan. He loved golf, SF Giants and the 49ers.
Steve is survived by his loving Mother, Aletha Ormonde (Bill) of Maricopa, AZ; his Loving Father Ray Dion of Manteca, CA; his brother Raymond Dion (Pam) of Bishop, CA; his Children: Son, Evan Dion, Daughter, Jacqueline Dion, and their mother Judie Kinerson of Modesto; Step-sister Jolene Reeves; Nieces, Julia Reeves, Melinda Tandy (Dave), and Meghan Tandy; Nephews, Bobby Reeves, Trevor Reeves, Aidan Tandy and Craig Dickens; Aunt Margaret Curtis; Uncles Franklin and Kenny Dion; Cousins, Doug Morgan (Mona), Mike Morgan (Kim) and Karen Curtis.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 6th at 10:00 A.M. at Fry Memorial Chapel, 550 S. Central Ave., Tracy.
