Aunt Opal was my "Pawpaw" Bryan Colvard's baby sister, she was named after my Grandma Gladys Opal. My dad "Billy Howard" was only 5 1/2 years younger than his "aunt Opal", he always spoke fondly of her. I met your precious mom, grandma, and great grandma a few times here in Oklahoma, and was always amazed at how she favored Bryan. What a sweet spirit and a truly Godly woman. We Colvards share a true legacy of family blessing. I'm so glad that she's reunited with her sweet family in Heaven and look forward to seeing her again, and rejoice with you that her life was so full of joy, love, and compassion for others!

I spent a lot of time growing up at the Stroup home and Opal was like a second mother to me. I know how much you will miss her and I wish you all my deepest condolences.

Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His loved ones.

As I child I remembered being so excited for her and Uncle Lloyd to come visit Oklahoma. She was one of my most favorite people and I was so blessed to be able to celebrate her 89th birthday with her.

She will be missed and remembered by many. Love you Aunt Opal!
